Production Director Job Description

We seek a highly responsible, passionate, and environmentally conscious Production Director Field to fill an important position within our business group.

The ideal candidate will have experience in crop cultivation, production planning, and logistics execution, with knowledge of precision agriculture opportunities and interest in new cultivation methods and climate-adapted solutions.

About the Position

This role involves overseeing the core business, ensuring optimal crop farming operations during the growing season. During the low season, the successful candidate will prepare agricultural machinery, enter new field plans into our management system, and ensure staff are well-informed and instructed on their tasks.

The Production Director Field will lead the production team, including 7 mid-level managers, agronomists, and spare part and grain stock manager. They will also be responsible for hiring and terminating hourly-paid employees in production.

Key Requirements
  • Expertise in crop cultivation, production planning, and logistics execution
  • Knowledge of precision agriculture opportunities and interest in new cultivation methods and climate-adapted solutions
  • Experience with cloud-based IT management programs, such as Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Superuser skills for efficient handling of administrative tasks
