**Job Description:**

As the Purchasing Director, you will be responsible for leading our procurement function, developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies that drive operational excellence and contribute to our continued growth and success.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute buying strategies that secure the best pricing and terms while maintaining uncompromised quality.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs, maximize value, and strengthen relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve and inform procurement decisions.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives that drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with fabric mills to negotiate fabric pricing based on order volume and growth forecasts during the greige booking process.
  • Work closely with the Production and Sales teams to ensure accurate and timely order placements, avoiding delays in the supply chain.

**Requirements & Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business growth through procurement excellence.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Business Central, and other relevant software.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, supply chain management practices, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to visit suppliers and oversee quality assurance.
  • A genuine alignment with SAYSKY's mission, values, and passion for run culture.
