About the Role

Metro Service A/S is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team within the Maintenance department at the light rail business unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and planning maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations across various departments, and handling essential administrative tasks related to maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Maintenance Team in planning and coordinating daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate external access to track closures in collaboration with relevant parties, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Work closely with the operations department to plan and organize maintenance and repair activities, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
  • Compile and maintain statistics related to work in and around the track, providing valuable insights for future planning and optimization.
  • Handle insurance cases related to maintenance, excluding occupational injuries, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Oversee the coordination of the First Line Response Team (FLRT) function, ensuring timely and effective response to maintenance-related incidents.
  • Administer departmental projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager, ensuring successful project delivery and meeting deadlines.
  • Participate in updating relevant procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with technical documentation and understanding technical requirements, with a strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information.
  • Proven experience in cooperating with public authorities, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools relevant to the role, such as SAP and MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to understand and manage safety-related issues within relevant management systems, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Ability to motivate others effectively, with strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in both Danish and English, with clear and effective communication skills in writing and speaking.
