About the Role

COWI is seeking an experienced Environmental Assessment Project Manager and Discipline Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading environmental assessments of local, municipal, regional, and national plans, as well as projects within offshore wind, coastal protection, urban development, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead environmental assessments and ensure high-quality results
  • Staff and manage project economy
  • Communicate with customers and authorities
  • Coordinate input from various specialists, including biologists, geographers, geologists, engineers, horticulturists, lawyers, GIS specialists, landscape managers, architects, and economists
  • Provide expert input for environmental assessments, tenders, and projects
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of documented experience in project management
  • Experience with all aspects of EIAs or EAs
  • Education in biology, geography, environmental engineering, planning, landscape architecture, or similar
  • Experience from an engineering consultancy company is preferred
  • Good coordination skills and ability to handle customers, authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Drive to manage, inspire, and develop colleagues
  • Diverse network in the EIA/EA community and ability to establish new relations
  • Ability to work independently and participate in interdisciplinary project teams
  • Spoken and written fluency in Danish and written proficiency in English
