Senior Compliance Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our Group Compliance team at Saxo Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business in meeting regulatory requirements in a dynamic and international environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in compliance and regulatory tax reporting, with experience in performing compliance risk assessments, providing advice and compliance opinions to the business, and conducting compliance monitoring activities. You will also have a strong analytical skillset, with proficiency in using Excel, Power BI tool, and SQL for data analysis and queries purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform compliance risk assessments and provide advice and compliance opinions to the business
- Conduct compliance monitoring activities and prepare compliance monitoring reports
- Participate in developing Saxo's compliance framework and contribute to regular compliance reporting to Saxo's senior management
Requirements:
- Masters in law, accounting, audit, economics, finance, or related field
- Strong background in compliance or audit function, supervisory authority, or relevant work experience in Regulatory Tax Reporting
- Experience in working directly or indirectly within the regulatory tax reporting area, such as client tax reporting to local Tax Authorities
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel, Power BI tool, and SQL
