About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team as a Merchant Risk Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the merchant risk program, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks associated with payment card processing, alternative payments, and fraud prevention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor merchant transaction data to identify potentially fraudulent activity and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve incidents.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on merchant risk management, fraud prevention, and chargeback management.
  • Ensure Risk data quality.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of payment card industry regulations, guidelines, and card scheme rules, including Visa, Mastercard, and other relevant networks.
  • High-risk underwriting knowledge, including experience in assessing and managing high-risk merchants and industries, is preferable.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years' experience within payments-related risk management positions.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and willingness to challenge the status quo ongoingly.
  • Fluency verbally and in writing in English and Danish.
