We are seeking an Digital IoT Support Specialist intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including setting up and installing IoT networks and infrastructure, troubleshooting issues related to network and connectivity, and providing technical support to UNDP Country Offices.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and young professionals who are interested in technology, innovation, and development. You will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies, such as IoT platforms, data analytics, and cloud computing. Our team is passionate about using technology to drive positive change and make a difference in people's lives.
As a Digital IoT Support Specialist intern, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up and installing IoT networks and infrastructure in UNDP Country Offices and projects;
- Troubleshooting issues related to network and connectivity, and providing technical support to UNDP Country Offices;
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including procedures, system documentation, and technical guides;
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination;
To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme or have recently graduated with a university degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or IT. You should also have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of programming languages, data analytics, and cloud computing is highly desirable.
The internship duration is 6 months, starting from August 1st, 2025. We offer a monthly stipend, which varies depending on the duty location. The stipend will be paid monthly, and part-time internship arrangements are prorated accordingly.
