As an Associate Professor of Companion Animal Surgery, you will play a key role in shaping the future of companion animal health at Københavns Universitet. You will have the opportunity to develop and lead innovative research projects, teach and mentor students, and contribute to the development of new clinical services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research-based teaching programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Conduct research in companion animal surgery, with a focus on biomarkers and biomechanics in pre-surgical work-up and post-surgical follow-up.
  • Collaborate with external researchers and private enterprises to develop new clinical studies and research initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in companion animal surgery, with a proven track record of research and teaching experience. They will also be able to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and students, and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment.
