About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Lead to join our team at Region Hovedstadens Psykiatri in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of AI-driven data analytics platforms for machine learning on large-scale complex multimodal data. This is a dynamic position that requires strong technical knowledge within AI, data management, and data analysis, as well as scientific interest in clinical implementation.

The role involves collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and IT experts to design and deploy cutting-edge data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with big data management and data processing techniques, preferably with Python.

You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals. Your day-to-day tasks will involve data preparation, visualization, model deployment, and ensuring the explainability of AI model predictions for clinical implementation.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A master's degree or higher in Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Experience with big data management and data processing techniques (mainly Python)
  • Proven research expertise in data preparation and visualization, model deployment, and explainability of AI model predictions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within a dynamic multi-disciplinary workspace
  • A profound interest in improving current treatments of mental disorders using data-driven approaches
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Azure ML or cloud computing systems
  • Experience with developing secure online analytical platforms for clinical test centers
  • Strong knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and statistics
  • Understanding of NLP and image processing for unstructured data
