About the Role
We offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced microbiologist to contribute to the development of innovative food safety solutions in our dairy products. As a Food Safety Microbiologist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products, while also driving innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven food safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective microbiological risk assessments and predictive modeling techniques.
- Provide technical expertise and support to R&D and supply chain teams to ensure the development of safe and high-quality products.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Manage and deliver projects related to food safety and microbiology, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in Microbiology or a related field, with 2-3 years of practical experience, or equivalent expertise with a Master's degree.
- Expert knowledge of microbiological risks, pathogens, and spoilage microorganisms, as well as risk assessment and management principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Excel and statistical tools, with the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
