About the Position

We are seeking a skilled scientist to join our team in biophysical characterization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biophysics, physical chemistry, or a related field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing scientific knowledge and expertise to support production sites around the world. This includes applying biophysical analyses to process-related challenges, developing a fundamental understanding of injectable products with regards to manufacturing processes, and contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the analytical platform used in the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A MSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as biophysics, soft matter physics, physical chemistry, bio- or nano engineering, crystallography or similar.
  • Knowledge about protein solution behavior and stability is expected.
  • Familiarity with some of the characterization methods such as MFI, ThT fibrillation assay, Turbiscanner and/or scattering techniques such as DLS, SLS and SAXS, as well as the underlying physical principles.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
