We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with experience in deep learning for image processing and analysis to join our team at DTU Health Tech. As a PhD researcher, you will focus on enhancing our department's expertise in ultrasound flow imaging and deep learning, contributing to the development of innovative diagnostic tools.

Project Overview

The aim of this project is to develop a novel wall shear stress estimation framework using high-frame-rate ultrasound and physics-informed neural networks. This framework will enable accurate measurements and address key research challenges, including robust vessel wall segmentation and flow estimation.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in applied mathematics, computer science, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in image processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques.
  • Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging modalities, particularly ultrasound imaging.
