Our team is comprised of experienced colleagues committed to achieving great results together. As a key member of our ambitious gas trading team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical trading systems.

This includes developing our automated and algorithmic trading solution, which involves close collaboration with traders and our Software Development team in Denmark. You will ensure that projects are completed to a high-quality standard and follow each step from idea to deployment.

Most of our systems are built in-house, so you will work full-stack and leverage a wide range of technologies and systems depending on the task, including Python, C#, JavaScript, Azure platform, and Grafana.

Your work will directly impact the success of our team, and you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous development of our automated and algorithmic trading solution, including implementing new algorithms.
  • Developing tools to support the reliability, overview, and tracking of the automated trading solution.
  • Coordinate with traders and other software developers to design and develop new state-of-the-art solutions for the gas market.
  • Moving old architecture to the cloud platform Azure and expanding the use of cloud technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proactive and curious mindset, with the willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Proven experience in software development; domain experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or similar. Experience in Python is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), with Azure specifically being a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a diverse team to achieve goals.
  • Fluent in English.
