Senior Institutional Banking Professional

We are seeking a Senior Client Associate to join our Large Corporates & Institutions team in Copenhagen. As a key member of our financial institutions coverage, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Our team is passionate about fostering long-term relationships with institutional customers, including Life & Pension, Insurance, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Banks, and Mortgage Banks. We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment where you can grow professionally and develop new skills.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Client Executive to manage a portfolio of strategically important Danish financial institutions;
- Driving cross-product customer teams to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, originating and facilitating business across Nordea's product offerings;
- Expanding business potential and long-term profitability through a deep understanding of customers' investment and banking needs;
- Analyzing and managing credit, compliance, and ESG risk;
- Actively participating in customer meetings, preparing and presenting agendas and materials;
- Having responsibility for and driving specific customer event-driven cases and projects;
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong stakeholder management skills, be structured, and have a natural interest in the financial markets. Your ability to adapt to a frequently changing environment, prioritize tasks, and solve problems within short timeframes is essential. You must also be fluent in Danish and have excellent communication skills in English.
A competitive salary in the range of €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience, reflects the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent.
