Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Monthly local closing activities and IFRS reporting to the Vaillant Group
  • Local GAAP year-end closing of our entities in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, including communication and preparation of documents for auditors
  • Handling of the bank accounts, including payments and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Debtor and creditor management (both views), including credit management and receivable aging
  • Bookings directly in SAP and through workflows (incl. payroll and recharges)
  • VAT contact for entities in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway
  • Primary contact regarding tax topics for authorities and the Vaillant Group (VAT and CIT)
  • Implementation and optimization of financial processes in your area of responsibility
  • Monthly control and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Completed a degree or training specialising in finance/accounting, or professional experience in this field
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical skills in accounting, controlling, and solving financial problems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong skills in using MS Office (esp. Excel) and SAP ERP, especially SAP FI-CO (SAP-SD favourable)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Danish as well as basics in Swedish
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive working attitude
  • Team player with good communication and self-management
