About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Expert to join our team at Ramboll Management Consulting. As a key member of our Strategic Sustainability Consulting department, you will play a crucial role in driving our clients' sustainable transformation and making a meaningful impact on the green transition.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in M&A, banking, consulting, or strategy roles, with a strong academic record and a Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. You will be responsible for combining insights from technical, regulatory, and commercial experts and presenting them to senior management. This will include performing financial analysis, conducting market and competitor analysis, developing business cases, and supporting business development and sales activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of our team running integrated Due Diligence for both buy- and sell-side, managing multiple workstreams and/or running your own workstream(s).
- Combining insights from Technical, Regulatory and Commercial experts and presenting them to senior management, covering strategic alternatives, benchmarking, and financial performance.
- Performing financial analysis to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conducting market and competitor analysis, engaging in management consulting activities such as market assessments, feasibility studies, and operational evaluations.
- Developing business cases to assess feasibility and potential benefits.
- Supporting business development and sales activities, including project proposals, client presentations, and reports.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field, with a strong academic record (top 15% of class).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in M&A, banking, consulting, or strategy roles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a logical and systematic approach.
- An ambitious mindset, striving for excellence and making an impact in sustainable transformation.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including proficiency in presentations.
- Strong organisational, time management, and research skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for sustainability and excitement about making an impact in re-shaping industry and driving the green transition.
Benefits
As a Sustainability Expert at Ramboll Management Consulting, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from €55,000 to €85,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that drive sustainable transformation, collaborate with a talented team of experts, and contribute to shaping tomorrow's society.
