At GEDON Executive, we're partnering with leading consultancies, developers, and contractors across the Nordic region to drive sustainability in the built environment.

This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled Candidate Title to be based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

About the Role

  • As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping organizations understand, measure, and reduce their carbon footprint through sustainable construction practices.
  • You will leverage your expertise in carbon accounting, life cycle assessment, and cost analysis to drive impactful solutions.
  • Your key responsibilities will include:
    • Providing expert consultancy services on carbon costing and sustainable construction strategies.
    • Conducting comprehensive Whole Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to evaluate the environmental impact of building projects.
    • Developing and implementing carbon reduction strategies for materials, processes, and building operations.
    • Analyzing and interpreting carbon data, providing clear and actionable insights to clients.
    • Utilizing and potentially contributing to the development of carbon calculation tools and methodologies.
    • Advising clients on cost-effective sustainable material selection and design optimization.
    • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in carbon accounting, sustainability standards, and Nordic regulations.
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability principles.
    • Contributing to business development efforts by showcasing expertise in carbon costing.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Carbon Cost Consultant or similar role within the construction or environmental consultancy sectors.
  • A strong understanding of Whole Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and carbon accounting principles.
  • Experience with carbon calculation tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change in the built environment.
  • Familiarity with Nordic sustainability standards and building regulations is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is a plus.
