Electrochemical Sensor Developer for Acute Shock Diagnostics

We are seeking an experienced Electrochemical Sensor Developer to join our research team at DTU Bioengineering. The successful candidate will work on the development of cutting-edge electrochemical sensors for diagnosing acute shock. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a real-world impact in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Funded by Innovationsfonden Denmark, this project focuses on developing a complete diagnostic solution for measuring succinic acid levels in patients experiencing acute shock. You will be working closely with medical professionals and end-users to ensure the developed solution is effective and practical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the integration of advanced sensors into a point of care clinical system for clinical trials.
  • Engage in hands-on experimental work and strategic planning to drive the project forward.
  • Develop clinical user operating procedures to support the application of the technology.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Bioengineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in biosensor systems development, including lab experience and a strong publication record.
  • Experience with electrochemical sensors is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
