Cutting-Edge Postdocs for Ammonia Catalyst Development

We are looking for two highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our team at SurfCat, DTU, and contribute to the development of innovative nitrogen activation methods for ammonia synthesis. Our research focuses on both thermal and electrochemical approaches to activate molecular nitrogen, with the goal of achieving efficient and sustainable ammonia production.

The successful candidates will have a strong background in materials science, chemistry, or physics, with expertise in catalysis, surface science, and material characterization. Experience with ultra-high vacuum techniques and catalyst testing is highly desired.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team of researchers and engineers to design, synthesize, and characterize catalysts for N2 activation. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with international partners and access state-of-the-art experimental facilities.

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related field
  • Expertise in catalysis, surface science, and material characterization
  • Experience with ultra-high vacuum techniques and catalyst testing (desired)
