About the Role:

As a Senior Business Risk Officer, you will be responsible for advising business stakeholders on risk management strategies and implementing controls to mitigate risks. You will work closely with the business to identify, assess, and manage key risks, and provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advise the business on ad hoc day-to-day risk and control inquiries.
  2. Engage with the business on activities related to Regulatory Risk in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  3. Support the business on tracking, scoping, mitigating, closing audit and compliance observations and risk mitigation acceptances.
  4. Support the business on incidence registration, management, and escalation.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant degree in economics, law, or finance discipline (or equivalent).
  2. 5+ years of experience working with Non-Financial Risk Management, Compliance, or related field.
  3. In-depth understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  4. Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and mitigate risks.
