About the Role

At Saab Danmark A/S, we are seeking an experienced Embedded Electronics Specialist to join our TactiCall hardware team.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity involves developing and maintaining electronic hardware products for embedded Linux systems and audio processing. Our product portfolio includes IP based user terminals, interface devices, installation accessories, PC equipment, and ship consoles. We focus on environmental requirements for these sectors due to our marine and defence market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Break down requirements according to the V-model
  • Design and document systems
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts
  • Define BOMs together with the supply chain
  • Perform hardware bring-up in our lab
  • Plan and execute verification tests (e.g., EMC, temperature, and performance)
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys learning and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with electronics design tools for preparing schematics and PCB layouts. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Hardware Engineering combined with several years of experience from a similar position is required.
