Job Description
The successful candidate will take on the role of Manager for the Service Sales Support Team, responsible for driving aftersales across all global markets for the Marine Boiler business. This individual must possess true business acumen, a strategic mindset, and outstanding leadership skills to empower their team of 17 salespeople across various global stations.
Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities to motivate and empower the sales team.
• Ensure identification and execution of strategic activities to drive long-term growth.
• Develop and implement a clear marketing strategy based on market understanding, customer needs, and competitor analysis.
• Provide a competitive offer of products and services tailored to specific industries and applications.
• Drive competence development related to industry, process, and products/applications.
• Motivate Sales Companies to generate demand in established businesses through the Global Sales Team.
• Enable the team and organization to deliver on growth expectations and sales targets.
About You
The ideal candidate should have several years of experience in a similar management role, demonstrating an empowering people management approach. They should possess a commercial and strategic mindset, handling technical offerings with ease. Experience working with technical sales in a management capacity, preferably from the Marine Industry and in a Service environment, is highly valued. The candidate should be driven, result-oriented, and capable of handling complex matters related to sales and organizational activities.
