In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive applied R&D activities that leverage your deep scientific knowledge. You will develop and optimize assays to address complex challenges, delivering solutions specifically designed to meet the unique needs of our customers worldwide.

Drive Innovation and Improvement

In this role, you will:

  • Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product and portfolio managers and the sales organization, maintaining open communication to ensure project/task alignment and success.
  • Resolve scientific and technical challenges to address customers' needs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality laboratory operations.
  • Stay up to date and seek advanced technologies by collaborating across departments to drive innovation and improvement.

Potentially relevant experience:

  • Ph.D. or master's degree with at least 3 years' experience in the field of microbiology/bacteria.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address customer challenges with creative and efficient solutions.
  • Proven expertise in microbiology, and experience in molecular microbiology, cell biology, microbiome, in-vitro and ex-vivo models.
  • Knowledge in automation processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge about agricultural industries (animal/plant sciences) and BioSolutions (probiotic/enzymes technology) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-regional teams, and across different job levels.
  • Ability to convey complex scientific concepts to non-expert stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects and prioritizing tasks ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
