Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled specialist team in the Nature and Chemicals department at Novo Nordisk. As a Chemical Product Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring chemicals compliance and reducing environmental impact from both products and production.

About the Team

You will work closely with a team of specialists who are responsible for supporting compliance related activities regarding chemicals as part of existing production but also towards expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting registration projects to ensure compliance, including data mapping and collection, and reporting to authorities.
  2. Developing and maintaining relevant internal chemical data repositories and tools on chemicals.
  3. Ensuring compliance of medical devices and packaging in chemical related matters, including reporting on chemical substances.
  4. Assisting with internal impact assessments for upcoming chemical regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of EU chemicals regulation (EU REACH regulation etc.). Knowledge of relevant sector legislation including MDR would be an advantage.
  • 0-3 years of experience working with ensuring chemical compliance in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, chemicals or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
