Job Opportunity:

Are you looking for a challenging role in cloud architecture? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Architect to join our Hybrid Computing Platform department at DSV Global IT.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud landing zones, providing technical leadership to operational team members, and collaborating with stakeholders across infrastructure and application areas. You will also be responsible for monitoring cloud infrastructure performance and making recommendations for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance of operational team members.
  • Analyse and design scalable and secure cloud architectures that meet our business needs and adhere to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across both infrastructure and application areas in the business.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Review and update cloud security policies, procedures, and governance best practices to keep the environment in line with organizational and industry standards.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and make recommendations for further improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in defining Cloud infrastructures, through Infrastructure as Code and a good understanding of modern DevOps practices.
  • Architectural design of Cloud infrastructure on AWS – preferably with at least Solution Architect certification in place already.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a fast-paced global Cloud team.
  • A solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS IaaS and PaaS offerings.
  • Have hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe & Scrum) and management tools (e.g., JIRA & Confluence)
  • Proficient in English – both oral and written communication
