We are seeking a highly qualified Professor in Environmental DNA to join our Department of Biology at Aarhus University, Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading research in molecular ecology, with a focus on Environmental DNA (eDNA).

About the Position

  • We are looking for a candidate with an internationally excellent and highly competitive academic track record in eDNA research.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in research project management, group leadership, funding acquisition, and teaching.
  • A strong publication track record in eDNA and molecular ecology is essential.
  • Documented experience in attracting external research funding is also required.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to establish collaborations with related research environments at Aarhus University and beyond.

Requirements and Qualifications
