About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our Product Delivery Technology department, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable solutions that will serve as the foundation for LEGO experiences in the coming decades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and resilient systems that meet performance and availability requirements.
  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy applications and services leveraging best practices.
  • Mentor other engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our software capabilities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong background in delivering platform products serving as the trustworthy, easy choice for other product teams in need of service characterized by secure/safe data storage.
  • Solid grasp of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
