Quality Assurance Director

At Bang & Olufsen, we are seeking an experienced quality professional to lead our quality efforts and drive continuous improvement across our production processes. As a Quality Assurance Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality methods to enhance our manufacturing excellence.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and production, to ensure consistent quality across suppliers and products. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Customer Quality Assurance, you'll work to elevate assembly processes and manage quality at a strategic level, enabling flawless execution from production to finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality metrics to measure and improve process performance.
- Lead quality initiatives in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, including coordination of activities using PPAP and other quality tools.
- Act as the customer representative for both automotive and Audio/Video quality matters, ensuring alignment with relevant methods and standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong engineering background and extensive experience in quality management. You have a passion for applying Six Sigma principles to solve complex challenges and drive continuous improvement across teams and processes.
- Extensive experience within quality management and Six Sigma tools, including: DMAIC / PDCA / COPQ / CTQ.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
