About the Job

This position involves working on cutting-edge research projects related to biocatalysis and sustainable chemistry. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to develop new methods for imaging and characterizing enzymes immobilized on various matrices.

The project aims to understand the interactions between enzymes and their environment, which is crucial for designing efficient catalysts for industrial applications. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of researchers from DTU Physics, NC State, and ORNL, collaborating to advance our understanding of biocatalytic processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and conduct experiments to visualize enzyme interactions with matrices using advanced microscopy techniques.
  2. Develop and apply novel methods for imaging and characterizing enzyme-immobilized systems.
  3. Analyze and interpret data to gain insights into enzyme behavior and matrix properties.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate results and develop a comprehensive understanding of biocatalytic processes.
