The Senior Finance Manager Nordics role is responsible for protecting Triumph's interests locally and ensuring the company's values are enforced. This position is accountable for all financial affairs and financial controlling of the Nordic entities, including administration, statutory reporting and compliance, tax affairs, insurances, and treasury as well as risk management operations of the local entities.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position that serves as a business partner to the local leadership team in all Business Units. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the financial performance of the local organization, implementing policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by the regional and global teams, and working with corporate, market and local and regional management to improve safety performance and governmental compliance.
Main Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Responsible for reporting, reviewing and compliance under the guidance of regional and Business Unit leaders; ensure financial statements are timely and accurately reflect the company's financial business performance.
- Financial Accounting and Administration: Oversee and review the month-end close process, including reporting systems, ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards and principles, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Cash Management: Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability; oversee cash, investments and asset management area and protect financial interests in all legal entities.
- Mentor and develop the Finance team in the various locations, managing work allocation, systems training, performance appraisals, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, SAP, BW Hana and CO tools.
- Gained significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues.
- Possess a strong leadership ability, confidence and executive presence, as well as the ability to motivate.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to be able to tackle topics from all business processes, areas and functions of the company.
- Able to demonstrate fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish languages.
