Our team within the Internal Banking and Balance Sheet Risk area is responsible for managing Saxo Bank's net interest income and associated risks, including liquidity risk, interest rate risk, FX risk, and capital risk. We aim to maximise earnings and optimise liquidity and capital usage while creating transparency for stakeholders to inform commercial decisions.

The team develops and implements new earnings and risk initiatives, such as investment opportunities, hedging strategies, internal pricing models, and balance sheet optimisation. We also assess market and balance sheet risks by developing risk measures, providing input to management, and collaborating with other areas across Saxo.

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Risk Manager to join our team. This role involves driving internal bank earnings and risk initiatives, including:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal funds-transfer-pricing models.
  • Providing expert input into commercial pricing models and initiatives.
  • Developing investment and hedging strategies with the ALM team.
  • Managing risks and developing risk measures.

This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in risk management or treasury functions, preferably from a financial institution. A relevant Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, or similar is essential. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and similar is beneficial.
