About the Role

Pandora A/S is seeking an experienced Forecasting and Inventory Strategist to join its Global Inventory and Demand Planning Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success through strategic demand planning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Accurate Forecasts: Utilize historical data, market trends, and sales insights to create accurate demand forecasts that inform inventory management decisions.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Cluster, Inventory, and AP teams to refine and improve forecasting models, ensuring alignment with Pandora's commercial goals.
  3. Analyze Sales Data and Market Conditions: Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market conditions to adjust demand signals and optimize inventory strategies.
  4. Partner with S&OE: Collaborate with Supply Chain Optimization Experts to align demand plans with supply capabilities, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  5. Engage with Cluster Team: Gather feedback from the Cluster Team on market dynamics and customer preferences to inform demand planning and inventory strategies.
  6. Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Track and analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy, on-shelf availability, and sell-out performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: In Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
  • 3-5 Years of Experience: In Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Merchandise Planning, preferably in retail, fashion, or FMCG.
  • Global Organization Experience: Proven experience working in a global organization with diverse cultures and markets.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English.
