Safety Specialist in Maintenance and Construction

We are seeking a motivated Safety Specialist to join our Health & Safety team at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S in Køge, Denmark.
About the PositionThis role is responsible for ensuring the safety and stability of our business through effective planning and execution of maintenance and construction activities.
You will contribute to mitigating risks and fostering a sense of preparedness and confidence within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with various stakeholders across our value chain to ensure effective maintenance and construction activities.
- Manage processes related to maintenance and construction activities, including implementing and maintaining Permit Vision at our locations.
- Act as subject matter expert during life cycle management and investments projects.
- Implement initiatives and audit activities, including training relevant stakeholders.
- Represent us in national and regional networks related to work permit processes.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in relevant work, preferably from a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production environment.
- A strong focus on work permit processes, hot work, high-risk activities, and health and safety within a maintenance and construction context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Danish and English.
- The ability to negotiate solutions that meet our business needs and an interest in strategic and hands-on tasks.
