The Opportunity for Medical Leadership

We are seeking a Country Medical Director for our Denmark affiliate, who will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in the region. As a key member of our global medical leadership team, you will have the opportunity to drive medical and scientific innovation, build partnerships, and enhance patient access to cutting-edge treatments.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Medical and Scientific Compliance: Upholding Roche's integrity and medical independence as the affiliate's authority on compliance and business ethics.
  2. External Partnerships: Representing Roche's perspectives among partners, building partnerships across industries, patient groups, and governmental agencies.
  3. Leadership within Affiliate Team and in the broader international network: Guiding medical and scientific decisions based on data and patient needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals and internal teams.
  4. Development Integration: Coordinating local safety, regulatory, and clinical functions to align with global and regional standards and meet local requirements.
  5. Evidence Generation: Overseeing data generation to support patient access, filling evidence gaps and advancing Roche's portfolio through innovative studies.
  6. PDG Collaboration: Working closely with clinical operations teams to enhance research capabilities and maintain compliance with local and global standards.
  7. Medical Information (MI): Ensuring accurate, compliant medical information is provided, focusing on customer needs and proactive engagement.
  8. Patient Safety: Cultivating a culture of pharmacovigilance, ensuring safety standards are met across the product lifecycle and local practices.
  9. Health Economics / Market Access: Collaborating on health policy and access strategies, focusing on value-based healthcare and long-term patient outcomes.
