Job Title: Software Development Team Lead

At Vestas, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of software engineers and data analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions for our Service business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers and data analysts to deliver software solutions that meet business requirements and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the Service Business Unit and cross-functional software teams to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and new technologies to support creative advancements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers and data analysts.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or relevant education.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in an embedded Software Team Leadership role.
  • Experience in Wind Turbine operations, especially during service and operation.
  • Proven experience in software development.
  • Experience with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, or Python.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Global mindset and good cultural understanding.
