Embedded Software Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Software Manager to join our team at Jabra, based in Ballerup, Denmark. As a key member of our global engineering organization, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer by managing and supporting several teams of skilled software engineers in Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support several teams of skilled software engineers in Europe, focusing on firmware development for existing and new audio/video products.
- Coordinate the design, development, testing, and debugging of firmware for existing and new GN/Jabra products, mainly based on Android, Linux, and other embedded RTOS.
- Develop and implement project plans and processes, schedules, and documentation of work and results, requiring cross-department coordination, meetings, and follow-up actions.
- Collect requirements, create initial backlogs, refine, and set the vision for agile teams.
- Collaborate with outsourcing partners and follow up on cases with Chipset Vendors and Video Communication Partners.
- Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience as a people manager with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Strong fundamentals in programming bare-metal firmware and multi-threaded programs for various OSes, including Android, Embedded Linux, and RTOS.
- Experience with modern software development workflows using Continuous Integration Continuous Development (CICD) practices and Agile software development (SAFe preferred).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to establish a good rapport with team members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate priorities, generate enthusiasm, and demonstrate a sense of humor, tact, and flexibility in changing situations.
