Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a dedicated HSE Specialist to join our innovative team at Plant Aalborg. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facility complies with all relevant environmental legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Danish environmental legislation, maintain and update environmental permits, and prepare and submit reports to authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Service Directive: Implement new requirements related to compliance with the Seveso directive, assist in the management of the safety system of the plant, and participate in environmental risk assessments and optimization of procedures.
  • Environmental Management: Perform VOC-emission calculations, coordinate external noise measurement analysis, and manage relationships with external consultants as needed.
  • ISO 14001 Implementation: Create and update internal system documents (according to ISO), perform self-assessments, and generate ad hoc reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and collaborate with the local municipality and production stakeholders, provide training on environmental and sustainability practices, and support production teams in selecting environmentally conscious solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Relevant educational background in technical environmental management and some years of practical experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong reporting and organizational skills with attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of Danish environmental regulations, familiarity with ISO 14000 and other relevant standards, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Personal Attributes: Fluency in Danish and excellent English skills, both written and oral, passionate about renewable energy and environmental sustainability, motivated by technical challenges and regulatory compliance, and a collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
