About the Job

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is seeking a skilled economist to join our team as a project economist for EU-funded projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating EU-funded projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate EU-funded projects from start to finish
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with project team members, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise
  • Ensure compliance with EU regulations and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with EU funding agencies and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in economics, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in an EU-funded project
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of EU regulations and guidelines
