About the Role

The Marketing Manager at BYD Europe is a pivotal position responsible for developing and implementing tailored marketing strategies specific to the European region. This role requires a collaborative approach to optimize brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth within the European market.

This individual will report directly to the Country Manager and work closely with the European Marketing team, BYD dealer network, and regional teams to facilitate the development of robust quarterly marketing plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring dealer websites, signage, and marketing materials are up-to-date and compliant with BYD's corporate identity policy.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities
  • Define the country marketing plan in line with business objectives and global marketing strategic guidelines.
  • Plan and lead the execution of national events, conducting post-event analysis to understand effectiveness and inform future actions.
  • Develop and manage regional advertising/digital campaigns across local markets, in conjunction with appointed agencies.
  • Provide digital assets for local market use and ensure proper usage during national-based campaigns.
  • Supervise dealer marketing plans and monitor their execution from partner dealerships.
  • Contribute valuable insights to the construction of the European marketing plan and monitor competitor activities (product and financial benchmarks, monthly installments, new campaigns).
  • Develop and manage local advertising and PR campaigns in conjunction with appointed agencies, supported by the PR Manager.
  • Oversee the steering of the marketing budget.
  • Serve as a liaison with press, media, agencies, and digital influencers in collaboration with the operational support of the PR Manager, promoting brand and product stories.
  • Conduct post-event analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of actions and provide feedback to inform the marketing plan process.
  • Collaborate with and support the European PR and Events team when planning activities in local markets, in conjunction with the PR Manager.
  • Foster, grow, and nurture relationships with digital media and social influencers.
  • Represent the brand as an ambassador and prioritize customer-centric approaches.
  • Engage actively and collaborate on European events or activities as needed.
