Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Piping and Layout Engineer to join our dynamic team in Copenhagen or Gothenburg. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing efficient and sustainable plant engineering solutions for our eMethanol facilities.

  • Lead the development of piping systems and layouts to ensure they are efficient, safe, and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize project standards and oversee the integration of designs.
  • Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines to optimize layouts and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain internal standards and procedures to ensure quality and consistency across projects.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including ASME, EN, and ISO.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in piping design and layout within plant engineering.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, or E3D.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design codes and standards, including ASME B31.3 and EN 13480.
  • A proven track record of leading 3D design reviews and resolving multidisciplinary interface challenges.
  • Expertise in layout optimization for accessibility, safety, and maintainability.
