Safety Engineer for the Life Science Industry

DIS/CREADIS Engineering Solutions & Consulting is a global engineering company that offers highly specialized consultancy services to clients in the Life Science industry. We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Safety Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as the Safety Lead on projects, from development projects to machinery implementation in existing production lines. This includes ensuring best practices are followed and compliance is upheld within machinery and ATEX safety.

The role involves working in cross-disciplinary teams to contribute to a safe working environment in the pharma industry. Key areas of focus include:

  • Machinery and process equipment safety
  • Commissioning of machinery and process equipment
  • Safety legislation and regulatory aspects
  • Safety and risk management
  • Risk assessment and hazardous area classification (ATEX)

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant technical educational background and 2+ years of experience in similar roles. You should also have solid experience in machinery safety, ATEX directives, and harmonized standards.
