About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Forensic Investigations Director to join our team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will be responsible for conducting and managing investigations related to alleged ethics and compliance policy violations.
Your primary focus will be on executing end-to-end investigations, including all deliverables of appropriate quality on time and in compliance with ACFE standards of investigation. This includes managing e-discovery tools, performing hardware imaging remotely, creating interview agendas, and delivering high-quality investigative reports.
As a Forensic Investigations Director, you will also be responsible for overseeing the investigation planning, execution, forensic report writing, and documentation. You will work closely with Legal & Compliance and HR colleagues and other internal stakeholders within the markets, corporate office, and other lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead internal investigations of suspected violations of corporate policies and/or laws related to fraud.
- Oversee the investigation planning, execution, forensic report writing, and documenting.
- Present facts and trends to aid in the assessment of appropriate remediation measures in closed investigations.
- Provide effective recommendations and solutions to identified issues; ensure business agreement and tracking of defined actions.
- Maintain existing SpeakUp channels and establish new channels, where necessary.
- Maintain and further develop the SpeakUp Manual, SpeakUp Review Manual, and other relevant internal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with the EU Whistleblowing Directive and other relevant legislation.
- Train and coach the first and second-line defense and local investigators in fraud-related areas.
- Drive SpeakUp and GIA initiatives and projects, including strengthening internal controls in fraud-related areas, implementation of Fraud Management Framework, etc.
- Prepare quarterly reporting packages to AC and ExCom.
