Your Key Responsibilities:
- Category Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for next generation products, ensuring alignment with consumer preferences and market trends.
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats for the brand and category portfolio to improve performance & profitability.
- Evaluate the performance of the portfolio and adjust as needed to ensure it continues to deliver growth and profitability.
- Business Growth & Development:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market expansions, strategic partnerships, and potential acquisitions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute business development initiatives that accelerate revenue growth and expand market presence.
- Leverage data and market insights to continuously evolve the product portfolio, ensuring the company remains ahead of industry trends.
- Utilize market research and consumer insights for the development of the next generation products portfolio strategy and to define its role and roadmap.
- Work closely with regional and local teams to adapt portfolio strategies to local market needs and ensure the successful global rollout of new products.
- Ensure a cohesive approach to portfolio management and business development across markets, driving synergies and efficiencies globally.
- New Business Opportunities:
- Identify and assess emerging trends and consumer needs to develop new product categories that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Lead the exploration and validation of new business ideas through market research, pilot programs, and feasibility studies.
- Develop business cases for new category initiatives, including market analysis, financial projections, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to bring new product categories from concept to market launch.
- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to support the development and growth of new categories.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of new categories, making data-driven adjustments to ensure their success and profitability.
