Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Quality & Food Safety team at International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customer cases via sales portal, handling product quality related complaints, and coordinating customer specific requirements. They will also participate in New Product Development process, maintain documentation and master data in various systems, and perform calculations used for Determination of EU Preferential origin.

Key qualifications include a relevant academic background in chemistry, food, or dairy, knowledge/experience within food or food ingredients, and knowledge about the principles in ISO, HACCP and BRC/FSSC standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent professional communication skills in both English and Danish, and be a competent user of IT-systems and Excel related tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support customer cases via sales portal
  • Handling of product quality related complaints
  • Customer facing documents e.g. technical statements
  • Participate in New Product Development process
  • Coordinate and implement customer specific requirements
  • Documentation and maintenance of master data in various systems
  • Calculations used for Determination of EU Preferential origin

Your Qualifications:

  • Relevant academic background in chemistry, food, or dairy
  • Knowledge/experience within food or food ingredients as well as knowledge about the principles in ISO, HACCP and BRC/FSSC standards
  • Knowledge/understanding of microbiology
  • Competent user of IT-systems and Excel related tasks
  • Excellent professional communication skills in both English and Danish
