We are seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Section for Parasitology and Aquatic Pathobiology at the University of Copenhagen. As a postdoc, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team embedded within the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, with close links to other sections working on diseases, food chemistry, natural product chemistry, and the gut microbiome.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct cutting-edge research projects centered around exploring how the gut environment shapes type-2 immunity, as well as developing novel therapies to prevent infection and disease in animals and humans.

In addition to research responsibilities, you will be expected to co-supervise PhD and MSc students, share knowledge with society through teaching and public outreach, and contribute to a positive group environment that emphasizes teamwork, curiosity, and positivity.

Our research facilities include modern laboratories and animal facilities, providing a stimulating working environment for the successful candidate.
