Job Title: Vice President, Engineering & Projects

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Vice President, Engineering & Projects to join our team at Brinch & Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product delivery function in Business Unit 2, including Product Development (NPD) and Project Management of all new customer product development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Leadership: Oversee design and innovation processes, competency mapping, and development. Manage design tools, methodologies, and configuration management, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficient warranty case handling.
  • Project Management Excellence: Direct full-cycle NPD and NPI phases, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and product performance targets. Drive project execution and oversee product cost management in close collaboration with the customer.
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the BU management team and contribute to strategic decision-making for development projects. Participate actively in the BU's Strategy Development and Execution, preparing materials for board-level decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Drive customer engagement initiatives, conduct performance business reviews, and contribute to M&A activities. Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrated executive-level leadership in product development and project management. Strong track record of driving organizational change and achieving results.
  • Skills: Proficient in the engineering and project management disciplines, people management, financial management, and organizational change management.
  • Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential due to the global presence of our organization.

Additional Requirements:
