About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Java Developer to join our consultancy team at KMD Services, within the Application Development & Modernization department. As a Senior Cloud Java Developer, you will play a key role in advising and assisting clients with their challenges, from small advisory and pilot projects to large, long-term modernization and development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement cloud-native Java applications
  2. Lead legacy modernization efforts to cloud-native platforms
  3. Develop and deploy microservice architectures
  4. Set up and automate CI/CD tools
  5. Provide technical guidance and review
  6. Collaborate with clients on methods and tools selection
  7. Support sales efforts and estimation
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about cloud computing and Java development. You should have a strong background in computer science/software development and be proficient in Agile and SCRUM methodologies. Additionally, you should be fluent in Danish and English.

Professional Requirements
  1. Extensive experience with Java, Containerization, Kubernetes & Linux
  2. Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture like Kafka and NoSQL databases
  3. Proven experience in implementing cloud-based solutions
  4. API design, management, and development including security
  5. Familiarity with AI and LLMs is an advantage
  6. Cloud certification as a developer
  7. Minimum of 5 years in software development
  8. Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
  9. You stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and software development, including open source and AI.
