Emissions Specialist for Propulsion Engine Development

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Engine Platform Process Development department as a NOx emission reduction specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering or a related field and experience working with low-carbon technologies.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with IMO regulations and will be responsible for developing and implementing certification concepts for our two-stroke engine portfolio. This includes planning, analyzing, and following up on emission surveys to ensure accurate documentation and timely project completion.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement certification procedures
- Develop and maintain technical reports and guidelines for NOx emission reduction
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure regulatory compliance and obtain necessary certifications
- Conduct data analysis and evaluate computational models for emissions reduction
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to integrate certification processes into overall business strategy
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in emissions reduction or a related field
- Strong understanding of IMO regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
