The Derivatives & ETF Sales team within our Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) division is currently seeking a talented individual to join their ranks as a Derivative & ETF Sales Trader. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a market-leading cross-asset class Nordic franchise, providing access to Nordic and global derivatives & ETF markets for many of the largest corporate & institutional investors.

About the Role

SEB Derivatives & ETF Sales is renowned for its expertise in global derivatives and ETF markets. In this position, you will interact with institutional clients across Europe, proactively managing long-term relationships and expanding the client base. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Executing institutional order flow on global derivative and ETF markets
  2. Daily client interaction reflecting SEB's market view
  3. Owning the sales process, creating ideas, and helping structure transactions
  4. Continuously working towards expanding the client base
  5. Responsible for conducting business in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
  6. Frequent interaction with international colleagues across Europe

Who Are You?

This role is ideal for a hands-on, client-focused individual with a can-do attitude. To succeed, you will have:

  1. A relevant university degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a similar field
  2. Experience working with derivatives and other financial instruments
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and experience working in an international environment
  4. A highly motivated, proactive, and ambitious individual with a genuine interest in financial markets and good relationship skills
  5. Great team-working skills and actively contribute to an inclusive and transparent work environment
