We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Derivative & ETF Sales Trader in our Derivatives & ETF Sales team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to be part of a market-leading cross-asset class Nordic franchise, providing access to Nordic and global derivatives & ETF markets for many of the largest corporate & institutional investors.

The Derivative & ETF Sales Trader will be responsible for executing institutional order flow on global derivative and ETF markets, interacting with institutional clients across Europe, and proactively managing long-term relationships. They will also play a key role in expanding the client base and ensuring compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Executing institutional order flow on global derivative and ETF markets
  2. Daily client interaction reflecting SEB's market view
  3. Owning the sales process, creating ideas, and helping structure transactions
  4. Continuously working towards expanding the client base
  5. Responsible for conducting business in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A relevant university degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a similar field
  2. Experience working with derivatives and other financial instruments
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and experience working in an international environment
  4. A highly motivated, proactive, and ambitious individual with a genuine interest in financial markets and good relationship skills
  5. Great team-working skills and actively contribute to an inclusive and transparent work environment
